You can donwload a metronome app on your phone . There are free metronomes on the internet .
Your bass guitar notes need to be steady . I do not know if you ever played with musicians that slow down for no reason or speed up the song for no reason . They cannot keep the time . They are not steady and are not good musicians . This is the basis for being a good musician keeping the time . Before playing solos and difficult scales . But if you have your bass guitar practice often then you will automatically become good at keeping the time . It only takes tuning on the metronome each time you play .
5 Bass guitar notes grooves and scales
To be a good bass player you need to both play grooves well and scales or solos . If you want to become good at both . Your guitar notes will be heard by the band on how well you can groove .
